A very good copy of Hakido University's Medical Library Series Number 3 that features Kodama's study of the Ainu people of Japan in its original jacket.. 295p. Black and white illustrations. Bound in salmon colored cloth with gilt stamped titles. Pages have toning around the edges and a water stain to the outer edge of the last two pages of the index. A "Map of Hokkaido" is laid into the book. Binding is pinched at the center that causes the pages to stiffen rather than lay flat. End papers have uneven toning, Jacket it toned and has scattered foxing. Some areas of water staining and small closed tears at the edges. [Loc: 48].
