A beautiful copy of Walker's history and biography of Athens County, Ohio in two volumes. Both volumes are in their original binding and are complete with all plates and the Map of Ohio included in the back of volume II. Bindings are solid. The pages have become brittle at the sewing and outer edge. Some pages are chipped from thumbing. Boards show wear at the spine ends and board corners. Gilt titles and top edge have minimal loss and are dulled from age. A scarce copy in this condition.
